The Ranch By GMV, Wedding Venue — Attraction in Poteet

I got married 10/25/25. First I’d like to thank Jen Jessica and Moana. Jen and Jessica were absolutely amazing. They made sure everything went the way I wanted on my wedding day. From the jump They were excited and happy to help coordinate my wedding. They had a list of questions and were not afraid to remind me when I need to get things done. If I changed things up they were super flexible. I loved their personality and their take charge attitude. They weren’t afraid to tell my guest what I wanted. I had a snack bar coffee and donut bar that they set up for me. People had no patience and kept trying to get what they wanted. They spoke up and let my guests know the bride and groom have a schedule for everything. Sadly I had a bit of family drama at the end of the night. My brother was the cause of it but the security guard was a bit young and was not quite in the right with the way he handled it. Both girls immediately helped me with the drama. We got my brother out and got the security guard to calm down. At that point I just wanted the night to end but Jen said “no you guys have to do a last dance. Don’t let that ruin your night.” I’m so grateful for that. We really needed it. Both girls and staff also helped pack up my truck at the end of night with all the left over goodies. Those two girls did an amazing job. Definitely impressed with the way they were able to handle my family. They ain’t the easiest people to deal with. Moana had a hard bride to deal with. I did not want a simple white wedding. I wanted it to be dark. Her and her staff ended up with the perfect decor for me. Moana also saved my butt. My cake person jorgeous_cakes and more tried to cancel the day before my wedding. He lied and said he did not receive payment. I had screenshots of all of our conversations. Moana called and made sure he showed up with what I wanted. I found him through them so she was not having it. He then showed up with a cake that was not decorated at 3 pm. Wedding started at 6. My husband Moana and Jen then got after him for his lies of him trying to say we did not pay. We pulled up the proof and they made him fix the cake. A nightmare I wish on no bride. So I am very thankful I had a team to back me up when something was not right. The venue is gorgeous. People are still talking about it. It was perfect. I wish I could relive that day. I recommend renting out their houses in the back for you or your guest. The night before all the lady’s spent the night. We had a blast. Love that it was on site. I attended an annual service there and the venue itself was beautiful and well kept. The prices were very reasonable and the decor was congruous with what you would find in a wedding or other type Gathering venue. The only Improvement I could suggest is in the parking area. It was mostly gravel and local Road material. And not very conducive to high heels or elderly ones walking from their vehicle. The parking area was also very dark (very little lighting) This did not detract from the atmosphere but would be a great improvement if upgraded. I loved the country feel along with the fancy decor, pond and attractive gazebo. It made a beautiful venue for the observance of the annual observance of the memorial of Jesus' death. I would love to have a wedding or anniversary party there as there was a bar or food serving area that would make serving a large crowd easy. It appeared to occupy about 250 people at most but could also feel just as cozy with a smaller group. The lobby was inviting and restrooms were clean. We had the most wonderful experience at this venue for our prom! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful everything was. No detail was overlooked, and it truly created a magical atmosphere for our students. The staff was incredibly helpful, talented and professional and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. They were also so accommodating, allowing our students and families to take photos early, which was greatly appreciated. The kindness of everyone involved made the evening even more special. The DJ was fantastic, and our students had the best time dancing the night away. We’re so grateful for everything, and we couldn't have asked for a better prom experience!
