What a hidden gem! I've driven through Pottsville on Highway 64 dozens of times, but never knew this museum existed. The main house is immaculately restored and filled with period furnishings from the Potts and other early families. The outbuildings are filled with different artifacts from dolls, to medical equipment to hats. If you're a history buff, it's worth the drive to Pottsville just to see the Potts Inn, as well as the 1913 Bank and original grocery store across the street. Read morePotts Inn Museum offers the visitor a look back to the 1800's in Arkansas, with access to a well-preserved home still sitting on its original foundation next to a tree estimated to be 230 years old. Enjoy visiting room after room on two floors filled with period furniture, then tour the grounds to see some other old outbuildings that have been moved to the site from around the county.
