Upside: I really like this park. Clean and well maintained. LOVE the quick hike up the mountain when I need exersise, and there is convenient availability of a public restroom close by.
Downside: There are people who walk right next to your car when you have your window down and are talking on the phone--to look to see what you're doing. I get it: they want to see if you're a drug dealer, etc., but I do outbound calling for my insurance job and sometimes go to the park to make calls and to work on my laptop so I won't go crazy being at home all the time during the pandemic.
People: realize that Starbucks doesn't allow dine-in right now. So there's nowhere else to go do business other than home, the park, or a supermarket parking lot.
More feedback: I have used the running track at Silverset to exercise at the fitness stations placed around the loop; but again, people there love to stare at you as they're walking, to see what you're doing--which is really creepy. They don't know how to socially distance, either, because they walk (unmasked) less than three feet from you. Is it intentional? Maybe to smell if I'm using drugs or alcohol?
Spoiler: I don't drink or use drugs. And, I had to pass a background check to get my insurance license.
Maybe I'm not dressed as upper-middle-class? My older brother is a millionaire who lives in the area; but unfortunately, that's not me, and I probably don't look the part. Therefore, the soccer moms and affluent types stare at the other (lower) half. Not cool.
From here on out, I'll only go to this park as a staging area to hike up Twin Peaks.
If I want to work out (or park and work the phones, etc.) in a park setting, a better place to go is Hilleary Park (a couple of miles away). People aren't nosey, they don't bother you with the creepy staring, and they know how to socially distance in that part of Poway. The only downside to that park is that the restrooms are locked 2/3rds of the time--so you have to trek to the railroad museum park across the street if you need to go.
That's my feedback. Enjoy Poway; but if you're not rich, know your limits when you're in the affluent parts of town.

Flawless cage around the bar protects the ball well, nice dome shaped. Outfield is green and lush but free dry patches and ups and down.
They have only one big baseball field and no batting cages.
This Baseball field is well maintained infield and outfield ideal for baseball practices or games.
The outfield grass is available for.practice too. Nice dugot for the teams wi the benches.
Parking is tight, only 12 spots. Nice maintaed park and very family friendly park. With nice joging...
Read moreGreat playground and park with amenities in good conditions, including toilet paper in the bathrooms! Big open area for kids to run and play, basketball courts, caged batting/softball area. Really a great place! Many dog owners like to bring their leashed dogs for walks here as well. The one challenge is that a few visitors allow their dogs to leave fecal matter uncollected. The park has free bags at multiple stations to avoid this, but a few 'bad apples' don't use them. Needing to keep an extra eye out so my toddler doesn't get too close to dog poop brings it...
