Well-designed West Cobb soccer complex with turf fields and a half mile, soft asphalt track for runners and walkers. Be advised that this is a very popular/busy place with peak times appearing to be early mornings and early evenings. The area is extremely well lit with LED track lighting and stadium-type field lighting. To alleviate safety concerns, Cobb Police patrol the parking lot, the complex is easily visible from and located on a heavily traveled West Cobb road, and there are always lots of people around. Large parking lot, restroom facilities, drinking fountains, daily trash pickup, regular maintenance in natural areas, and "doggie bag" stations are a big plus. Highly recommend to those who want to get in their daily steps.

Recommendations for Cobb County: please post clear, easily seen courtesy reminders for walking and running, such as found on the Silver Comet trail, i.e., walk on the right, pass on the left. This may help alleviate congestion caused by those who insist on walking side by side, thus taking up the entire width of the track, as well as groups who congregate on the track near...

So specs since i like to know this when im looking. This is a paved track and the signs say it's 1/2 mile each lap...but its def off by roughly 1/8th of a mile. The track itself looks pretty good, there's def some slight elevation changes that you notice but not a huge difference. I would say this track is handicap accessible but there are a few inclines/declines to be mindful of.

I haven't used the following but they are there...Handicapped accessible restrooms, a play area for younger and older kiddos. A covered pavilion area to the far right, what looks like an outdoor workout area with a few bars for various workouts and a massive soccer field with 2 or 3 practice fields to the sides.

There aren't a lot of coverings, so if the weather calls for rain...unless you're close to the concession stand, pavilion side or run across the field back to your car....You will be soaked. Same for sun in the summer...itll be hot.

Overall I like this park. It's open, decent amount of parking and the track (roughly 6-8ft) is wide so even if there are folks moving at different paces you will be able to...

I went to this park for a birthday party and it was really nice. There was a lot going on but there is a huge parking lot and multiple play areas that different age kids can use. There's a nice Pavilion covered with a grill that is between the two playgrounds. I also thought it was a nice touch for the playground for younger kids. The ground surrounding that play area is spongy and great for your knees. So the kids who might be a little clumsier or new Walkers won't hurt themselves. It also has a xylophone outside of the play area for kids to play with as well. The day that I went there was a guy selling ice cream from a little push cart. Some of the area is shaded there's also a big wide open space for you to throw a frisbee or ball or other similar Sports. There is also a walking Track and a soccer area. They have bathrooms on site that seem to be really nice and overall it's a very nice vibe. It's...

Today I spent the day with my daughter at a great park located in Marietta Ga. Has plenty of things to do whether you like to play soccer, take your kids to the park or even go for a jog around a 1/2 mile track this is the place to come. Even has local vendors if you get hungry! #thingstodoinmarietta #cobbcounty #parks #marietta #funthingstodo #sports #girldad

Absolutely great fun family park! Lots to do. Covered Pavillion, two large playscapes for kis, absorption track, multiple soccer fields, lots of parking, security and plenty of space to walk and enjoy the grounds. There is always several things going on at this park. But thats what makes it awesome. Its always a pleasant friendly time amongst other individuals.
