Bull Run Park — Attraction in Powell

This park is a little older; however, it's still one of our favorites. I've never seen it overly crowded, like most are nowadays. There are two covered pavilions directly on the park's side. A few things the park has to offer include various types of swings (handicapped swings, baby swings, regular swings, tire swings), sand boxes, closed and open slides, monkey bars, several small wooden tunnels with small ladders connecting them, a sitting area inside the park, and several benches. We've been here many times. Today was probably the last time. Every visit has folks smoking right with littles kids (not even their kids). So common manners are lacking. We've always just left when it was an issue.

No bathrooms on site.

Bull Run Park is definitely a fun & nice place for many types of use. Whether that be taking a swim to just relaxing to the beauty that nature has to offer. There is plenty of parking, a pavilion, grills, a water fountain, a water spigot, one porta potty, and a ramp for taking the boat out on the water.
