Homesteader Park & Rest Area — Attraction in Powell

This is a very beautiful and well maintained park provided by Powell with great facilities. There’s overnight RV parking (no more than 72 hours), RV dump station, kids playground, jogging track, swimming pool, fishing pond, skateboard park, etc. All the facilities are very well maintained, beautifully landscaped park with short green grass. A well manicured town park that happened to have a Heritage event going on with many interesting booths. The town had a grrreat kids educational booth to learn about the explorer John W. Powell.
