Parking is tough to see - went right by it at first. As others have said, you need to cross a railroad track and a busy road on the weekend to get to the trail to the mounds. There is a very steep hike at the start and nothing is very well marked so you will want to stop for the map at the visitor center. But once you get all the way back to the marching bears it is all worth it - make sure you bring water and a snack and just give yourself time to be there...
