The boat launch itself is great. Deep launch to handle larger boats, solid docks, and four spaces. Neds across the street has great food. The parking is very limited and if you have a larger trailer it will be tight. The restrooms have definitely taken a decline over recent years as far as being cleaned and attended to. Holiday and nice weekends it’s chaos like all boat ramps but the either the county, DNR, or some local authority really needs to be there monitoring things. The playground and beach area while small, is actually very nice, however the people patronizing it don’t clean up after themselves and have little respect for others. You pay $10 for the launch if it’s single day use. It really was a great local launch and park, but with the recent ESL crowd frequenting it…… It’s drastically gone down hill. On the weekends you need to arrive as early possible (before noon) as the parking lots fill up fast and when its full they close the the boat launch until someone leaves the boat launch. There are four boat ramps that are in fairly good shape.
