What a cool little house to visit on the 20th anniversary year that this small film came out. Although the surroundings have changed over the past 2 decades, the little red brick house has stood the test of time. I got so lucky on August 24th because there were 3 cars behind me and my family, and we all stopped at Napoleon Dynamites' house to take some photos ๐ธ. However, one car had their kid come out wearing a Napoleon curly wig and a vote for Pedro shirt and a bike helmet on. So I got a really cool photo of this little girl posing for her family photo, and she allowed me to take some pictures of her as well. So all in all, it was worth the trip to come see this Iconic little house out here in Preston Idaho. I also recommend stopping by Pedro's house and their High School on 151 E 200 S. Preston Idaho 83263..USA ๐บ๐ธ. It's just an amazing little town. I stopped off at Sydney's in town and had the BEST PISTACHIO cheese cake of my life. Wowzers, it was so good. It was so delicious. I just can't stop thinking about it. I even stopped off at STOKES grocery store and picked up some amazing snacks. So it was fully worth it to come out here and visit this awesome little town in Idaho USA ๐บ๐ธ. Thank you to the town and everyone who were so friendly and grateful to have visitors come check out Napoleon's place. All they need is a store where you could buy merchandise, and I bet it would sell.. Especially T-shirts. So, if you're ever in the area, you have to make a special trip to Preston and see these iconic sites. It's just a fun and memorable experience โจ๏ธ... it sure was cool to be in this town 20 years later when it first came out in 2004. Never did I ever imagine that the film ๐ฅ would become what it has.. So many young and old love this movie, and I am definitely...
ย ย ย Read moreI was on a Utah trip this week staying in Salt Lake City, & I figured I would do this on the side. Rented a car to see Arches National Park, & then utilize an entire day to drive 2 hours north of Salt Lake City to cross the border into Preston, Idaho to see Napoleon Dynamite's House. It was totally worth it. Got to see 3 new states in 1 trip (Utah, Idaho & Wyoming) & seeing the house in Preston since I remember Napoleon Dynamite being a cult classic of a film growing...
ย ย ย Read moreWas chasing sunlight in early October to get here after flying from Florida to SLC, but was totally worth it to feel the experience of the movie and more importantly, to throw a football over the mountain. Or was it a steak? Doesn't matter as it was a surreal moment. We were the only ones here except for a few housecats that came out to visit with us. Afterwards, went in to town to have dinner at Sydney's which was really good...
