Absolutely one of our favorite places to visit!!! We LOVE The Little Farm!! It is family owned and has a “real” farm atmosphere, which we love! Yes, it also smells like a real farm, just in case you’re not a fan of that. This is not an “attractions” type of farm. It runs as a real farm and its purpose is to educate the community on farm life and have fun! Their events are always very organized, and they support the local farming as well as artisan community with their festivals and markets! They have plenty of animal interactions while also not over exhausting or overwhelming the animals. Their animals always look happy and well taken care of, which is important to us. There are areas designated as a petting area, you can feed the animals, see the animals, and observe a goat milking. Their pony rides are great because there’s really only one “pony” and the rest are all different sized horses so it’s perfect for the kids of all ages. They have a butterfly garden that is beautiful. You can spot the toads in their pond! And they have a “tasting” vegetable garden at the end of the butterfly garden. We also love their play area for the kids that include classic wooden play activities like seesaws, balance beams, balance rope bridge, etc. It’e also a perfect place to have a birthday party! Our daughter celebrated her 5th birthday there almost 2 years ago and she said it was “the best birthday ever!” Sorry for the long review, but we’ve been to The Little Farm so many times and love it that it wouldn’t feel right to leave a short review. Highly...
Read moreI will like to share my experiences at The little Farm - Egg Hunt 2021, it was extremely disappointing. First you are being charge 22 dollars for kids and 12 per adult looking at the reviews , pictures and description of what it included I thought it was going to be a fun experience for toddler. Parking extremely disorganized, when I arrived there was a huge line, the line is not what it bother me but the lack of directions, because that really couldn’t be considered a line (no social distance whatsoever) (they were definitely not following cdc guidelines for covid19) At the end of the day we choose to go but we did paid for an event at least be organized specially if the event is for kids. Once in the farm there was 1 chicken/ 3-4 hours/ 2-3 cows/ and a couple of bunnies thats it. The lines to touch the “animals” couldn’t be considered a line. The line to ride the horse look like this - horses and employees resting, visitors making a “line” but noone will communicate when the kids will be able to ride them. If you are going to charge the fee please offer service that is worth the price because what it was offered today cost less then 5 dollars. Ohhhhh and the famous egg hunts what a mess making little kids wait/ eggs empty/ and no directions once again one lady screamed no parents in with the kids and I tried following directions until other parents decided that it was okay to push over my kid and other little ones to get there kids stupid empty eggs seriously, people are sad. That being set bad experiences wont...
Read moreI actually feel bad writing this because it’s a family farm, but I also feel like I wouldn’t have wasted money going if people were more honest in these reviews. I’m a 100% service connected veteran so I can take my children to a lot of activities free like the zoo or any state parks. I paid 27 dollars for myself and a 2 year old today. I went in and in the middle were a few animals and a worker on her phone. No initiative as we walked by. Next is a single pony for the “pony rides”. On the way out I asked for my baby to see a bunny because at this point it was a complete waste of time and money. The girl handling the bunny allows my 2 year old who is trying to hold it to get deep scratches all over her neck. Sure it was an accident but if you know what you are doing or even care a little that could have been avoided completely. My child had a horrible time here I wish I never took her. I’m not sure about these good reviews anymore whether it’s themselves and friends or maybe the older generation did better but man they need to do better. I seriously want...
