Picnic Area and Information Center — Attraction in Prineville

This is a wonderful place to have a picnic in the John Day NM area. (Actually, probably the only area with picnic benches). We had it almost to ourselves on a weekday at the end of April. The Cant ranch has a lot of history of ranching in this area and is worth a stop to walk around. The only thing it’s missing is a restroom.
