Updated from May to late June 2025. Layout is one of my favorites with strategy playing a role on about every hole on the course. Views are awesome. No hole is the same, all are unique and you get different angles and elevations. Great place to work on course management, but it is also a good challenge. Fairways are absolutely awesome, cut well, distinct, and great to hit off. There is fair rough where your ball is findable but also penalizing as it’s harder to stop the ball and without always a spot to run it up it puts a premium on fairways. Green shape was significantly better this time and they rolled very true. Also a decent challenge with different slopes and raised greens. I love the bunker placements and the sand is fantastic when dry. The range balls included isnt many but I’ve been assured you can ASK FOR MORE at no charge. Carts and GPS are great. Personally I really like walking this course tho (not sure if that reduces the price—hopefully it does). Practice green and range are a really good setup. There is a chipping and bunker spot that’s not as good and smaller but still a decent place to practice when it’s not busy. I have to comment on the tee boxes too, they are in good shape which can often be overlooked by golf courses, but not here. I hope golfers treat this course right because it’s on the up and up. One maybe two old school bad attitude patrons but the staff were really great. It is a bit pricey and you can find other public courses in great shape for less but personally I don’t think they can compete in the uniqueness/design of this course. The member/player cards options leave a little to be desired in value when committing to this course. I love the tee box distances and I think they’re perfect, but some might push back slightly: 7100, 6600, ~5900 yards I think. I’ll be back again this year, several times. Bottom line is that it’s definitely a course to...
Read moreBecause moguls or hills block the greens sight lines from the cart path almost every hole I couldn’t see if necessary to bring a chipper along with my putter or just my putter, thus lots of back tracking back-&-forth slows down play. $85/100 a round with no GPS yardage on carts disappointing and behind the times. Course lacks yardage markers. Yes you can use rangefinder but to do that every shot beyond 40 yards takes time. And if a first-timer on this course you must guess if water hazards or OB stakes nearby. That’s why if any course should have a GPS on carts it’s this one - especially if not familiar with the layout. Too many blind shots and too many moguls around the greens. Bunkers more like hardened mud pits and too many houses too close. If this course wants more repeat business and faster play I’d suggest eliminating the moguls around the greens and flattening the blind spots and eliminate that middle tree that blocks the #6 fairway. The course would still be challenging enough without the moguls or that tree on the #6. The positives are the automatic brakes on carts, the driving range, the chipping range, practice putting green and 20% senior discounts. The staff & starter friendly. Course in good condition with pretty views but because of too many moguls guarding the greens I’m not motivated to return. All the houses too close to the fairways also scares me...
Read moreCourse was not in great shape and the staff was condescending minus a couple people since we weren't regulars at the course. The ranger who worked that day was a complete A-hole. They have a rule that we weren't clearly explained about carts that aren't allowed within 100 yards of the green even though we always were parked in the rough about 50 yards from the green. He treated us like we weren't worthy to play at their course but yet he didn't do anything to a group of walkers that made our back nine last 3 hours. There were literally 3 groups piled up on each tee box because of this slow play. The ranger was condescending and rude to us about a BS rule infraction and didn't do anything to speed up the pace of play. Also the cart staff kids were in your face looking for tips even after we said "no thanks" for their help. The price you pay is ridiculous for the treatment we had and the not so great shape the course was in. Go somewhere cheaper and more laid back like Stonebrooke or somewhere else. You will enjoy your...
