Our family loves walking the causeway, or speed running it ( some of us). Once you get to the end you are at this amazing place. We love looking for treasure and making our way to the lighthouse. The walk is great for families, though real little kids would need to be supervised. Keep in mind that part of the causeway goes under water at high tide to have to keep an eye on the time while there. Amazing sunsets! If you are lucky to be there when low tide lines up with sunset you are going to get a real treat. Monday at 7pm we parked right next to causeway for free. Other busier times we have had to go further down the road and park in paid lot. Keep that in mind.

Great trekking experience for those who like adventure. Not for those who are not ready for a challenging long walk. Breakwater start was easy and predictable. Beach walk was a little bit of a challenge since it's harder to walk on sand. Had the opportunity to see a bob of seals along the way. Overall trekked leisurely the approximate 3 miles for 1 1/2 hours taking in consideration the variation in terrain. Good experience. Nice photo op once you reach the tip. Don't forget to hydrate and wear good comfortable sneakers. PS: encountered a troop of fox on the way back. Just be on the alert.

We went there today to see a poor beached whale. It is a pretty strenuous walk from the parking lot, especially because it was cold and very windy. The place is definitely worth a visit though; the water is crystal clear, nobody was around and you can also see the seagulls opening the clams by letting them fall on the rocks. Be careful because part of the causeway goes under the water during the high tide. Check the high tide timing before going there.

This lighthouse is located in a quite but beautiful beach, not too many travelers there. The sand is soft and smooth. You can only see the lighthouse from distance. From the beach, you can see a good view of P-town, and seals in the water or on the beach. It’s a good place to escape from the crowded streets and enjoy a wonderful picnic. You need to take a shuttle boat to get there. I highly recommend there.

We parked in the lot at the wharf for $3.50/hr and took a very pleasant 10 min shuttle boat ride for $20 round trip per person over to the Point. Spent a lovely few hours searching for shells and seaglass, taking dips in the ocean and watched as the seals swam by entertaining us. I highly recommend that you bring some bug spray, flies are awful! Overall it was a wonderful time and I will be going back soon!

We walked across the causeway and down the beach to the end of the world! It's an arduous journey, and we were so thankful for the ferry back. Well worth it, though, and a memory we will cherish forever! What a joy it was to jump into the cold water and relax. This really did feel like the very end of the world, and I would visit again in a heartbeat!
