The Province Lands Visitor Center is an amazing place ! If you are up this way, stop and visit Cape Cod National Seashore, you will not be disappointed. The passport cancelation stamp is on the left as you walk through the front door. Have many displays set up with very good information about the area. Walk up to the observation deck and look through the binoculars. I was able to watch many whales in the ocean! That was an experience for me. Stop by the gift shop and look around many cool and interesting items. It's definitely a place to visit!

If you're heading deep into the national seashore, your first stop should be the visitor center. A million dollar view of the dunes down to the ocean. The bike trail runs right behind the building. Pick up fire permits, overnight fishing permits, or call to reserve a permit ahead of time. Kids can become junior rangers. Dogs can become bark rangers. You can sign up for all sorts of programs or just get directions to the beach and pick up a map. There's also free movies running every 20 minutes. Perfect spot to plan your province lands vacation

While the center is temporarily closed the park and observation platform is still open. Lower lever bathrooms are open during park hours and definitely this time of year plenty of parking. Trails are open. While we didn't see any whales we did have a rather friendly little fox walk right up to us in the parking lot. This tells me people are feeding him. Please people, these are wild animals and should not become dependent on people for food. Plenty of beautiful scenery and beach to walk.

Always a must visit while in Provincetown. This visitor center was newly renovated. They offer some of the best views from the observation deck. More often than not, you can spot whales in the distance from here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Lots toned and learn here. The best part is getting here....whether walking, biking, or by car...you pass amazing trails and landscapes. So peaceful and relaxing.
