Farm de Vine — Attraction in Purcellville

There is so much that I want to say about this vineyard and the ownership of it. Hari Moosani Vigneron is the owner of Farm De Vine. A man, a owner with heart, passion and love for what he is doing. On Saturday myself and my friend Juliana found this hidden gem when looking for a new vineyard that we haven't been to before and let me tell you both of us were so happy that we did. Being in the wine industry for over 20 years I tend to fall in love with the wines of the vineyard and that's what keeps me coming back again and again. This time I fell in love with both the wine but most importantly the Owner Hari. Juliana and I got to sit and do our tasting while chatting with Hari and the way he spoke about his journey so far as a young ownership is a breath of fresh air. He has so much passion and heart and I am so excited to see what comes next from him and the vineyard. Like I said most of the time I like to support what the wine is doing but I really want to put a call out there to take time to visit Farm de Vine not only for the wine but really to support Hari. I left taking home a bottle of his silver winning Cabernet Sauvignon but it was a very hard choice of which wine to bring home because he had so many great ones. Please make sure to taste his Rose, Cab Franc and of course his Cab Sauv. If you are a fan of balanced dry wines then nothing will disappoint you. First, the environment is beautiful! It’s a horse stable that was refurbished to make a great tasting room. The scenery is amazing and up on the mountain which makes a wonderful spot for sunsets. However, what made this experience absolutely memorable is Hari he is the genius behind the wines. He is friendly and is truly passionate about his craft in wine. I loved all the wines I had and he won silver first year on his cab Sauv. Don’t run sprint to this hidden treasure! He deserves the praises for the wines he has already created!
