An amazing wine and liqueur 100% green winery in Putney! Found this place after hiking and what a great find it is. My favorites were Vermont Cassis Liquer and the Simply Blueberry wine. The second favorites were the Simply Rhubarb and the Simply Chocolate liqueur. The chocolate one is like liquid chocolate! If you're in the New England region, you should really visit this Winery and Spirits spot. For vegans and gluten-free advocates, all of the wines and spirits are vegan and gluten free. Plus, none of the items are made from grapes but locally sourced fruit farms!! A shout out to Lila for her guidance on the tasting menu! And congratulations to the entire winery on having the Northern Spy for being used to christen the USS Vermont!!!

100% solar powered Vermont green business co-owned by a woman making delicious fruit wines and liqueurs. Try the $5 tasting and pick your faves. We bought the blueberry wine, as well as the simply maple and Vermont cassis liqueurs. Delish! And a special shout out to Lila who stayed past closing to make sure we were well taken care of! ;)

Such an amazing hidden gem! Delicious and beyond affordable for the high quality wine and especially how amazing each product tastes. You can truly taste every flavor! $5 tasting and such sweet owners and workers (go Lyla)!

We loved this winery! The best tasting I've ever had - because I actually loved everything I tasted and couldn't decide what to take home (boo for flying instead of driving!). All the flavors are local - within only 20 miles except for the cranberries - which makes it all that more special. Every wine is unique with different fruits and flavors. And none of them are syrupy sweet; actually, many are more dry. We were impressed by the blueberry one - not at all what you expect from a blueberry wine, and you feel like you should be sitting in the woods on a picnic as you're drinking it. My ultimate favorite was Northern Spy (which supposedly also tastes great mixed with other wines or liqueurs!).

Kim was a fantastic resource as she facilitated our tasting and gave us all the tips and secrets for making the most of every flavor. Lots of insight on recipes (food and beverages!), combinations, and more.

Tasting was $7 each and we tried 5 delicious wines and 5 delicious liqueurs. We also had a special mix that tasted like a legit treat (chocolate covered cherry?) and my husband tried a brandy he loved!

I'll be ordering from here for a long time - found many new staples we'll be keeping at home and making sure our...

My husband, pup, and I had a spectacular time here at Putney Mountain Winery! I donʻt enjoy alcohol at all, but decided Iʻd at least try their wines/liquor, given they have what I consider a unique selection made from fruits, chocolate, maple, ginger and more! Just so interesting and super yummy. What really made our experience was KIM! She is a gorgeous soul. So fun to talk to her and just be around her. We had a ton of great ʻnear byʻ recommendations and look forward to trying them, too. What I thought was going to be a quick tasting, turned into a 30-45 minute enjoyable chat over amazing wines and liquor. Iʻm a light weight, so I really felt the alcohol just half way through. So $5 for a tasting (almost too many choices - almost - haha) was beyond a great deal! Of course their wines and liquor sold themselves. We had to take some home! We will be back and cannot wait to bring our family and friends. This place was not busy, but it should be! We appreciate the impeccable service and friendly atmosphere! Thank you again! Look forward to...

Coming from Virginia and having many wineries in our area, we wanted to visit some in the area since we were visiting Vermont. We were surprised by the wine tasting venue being in a basket shop but it was a very delightful and pleasant experience. The young woman that dealt with us was an amazing personality which created a perfect atmosphere to enjoy the tasting of an assortment of fruit wines. My wife is from Germany and I am retired military and we have been around the world tasting wines, and yet we felt at home at this small town winery tasting. We would welcome this young lady to Virginia to let us show her around our wineries any time she wanted. If anyone walks away from there without a smile, then something is wrong. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the wines. Not all of them are our taste, but that is very common in all wineries....
