The lake is unspoiled and peaceful. Located along the sparsely populated area along Highway 109. From looking at the island map, it seems Lake Guajataca is the largest in the Puerto Rico. It's a quick drive if you're coming from PR-2. But if you're coming from San Sebastian, expect to encounter a long uphill and narrow and winding drive. It's a nice experience if you've never traveled deep into PR-109...

The lake is very pretty, but dangerous for non swimmer, good for kayaking and others flotation devices. Have good places...
