Awesome hot springs! Came on Wednesday afternoon/evening and had the hot springs to myself. Beautiful location with the nice cool river you can jump in and cool off.
There are 3 tubs. A big one, a more bathtub sized one, and then a natural variation that has a bunch of rocks holding the water in place (I liked this natural one the best although it has the least amount of water).
The hot springs are actually hot and I'd estimate the first tub is around 100-102° with each tub getting progressively cooler as the water makes it way to them.
Also, realize this is a natural hot spring so the water has lots of minerals and smells of sulfur. The big first tank has the clearest water, but there is still sediment within it.
Will definitely come back!
Feather River Hot Springs and Woody's Hot Springs are one and the same.
P.S. Don't wear any jewelry as it...
Read moreFound this place completely by fate. A friend and I were driving down the highway and the car behind us was driving within a couple feet of my friend's back bumper. I told him to pull over and let the car pass and we pulled right into the parking lot of the Feather River Hot Springs. We have done a decent amount of hot spring hopping, but had no idea this one was on our route.
We called the number on the sign, payed the day fee, and enjoyed the hot springs for a couple hours before getting back on the road. I thought the setup on the river was genius, and if I remember correctly, I recall the tubs were piped by two separate sources, one which was a sulfur spring and the other lithium. I hope I'm not confusing this with another hot spring I visited! Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed these hot springs and will be sure to stop...
Read moreThis little piece of paradise is absolutely divine! As a counselor my days can be crazy and by the end of the week I am ready for rejuvenation. I spent the entire two hours just taking it all in. The pools were perfect and not crowded when i went yesterday..Feb 24... the few people hat were there were friendly . The scenery will fix what the pools dont. Sitting in the Hot Springs with the river and trees along with the snow on the ground was amazing. I will be back often and look forward to renting a cabin when they become available in the spring time. If your stressed or just need to get away...you cant go wrong coming to Feather River Hot Springs!!! Thank you Rocki for sharing your little piece...
