Dawley Park — Attraction in Radcliff

Gracie loved playing on the slide that resembles a dragon. I like the different ways the children have to climb on the gym to slide. The park has cleaned up a bit no cigarette butts sign says no smoking in park, no bikes, no skateboards, no profanity, or etc the rest of stuff not aloud. I've lived in the area for several years and I have no idea how I missed the fact that there's such a huge park right there in that area of town. Mainly it's soccer fields and football fields in empty grass, but when I went there was no one there and it was a nice open area just to be in nature. There is a lot of playground equipment though, as well as some Ninja warrior junior type obstacles. There are plenty of picnic tables, bleachers, random benches.. ample seating. This is a beautiful park. The walking distance was a bit far for me but only because we were not sure what field my Grandson was playing his Soccer game. It was a bit confusing as to what parking lot was best and how to get around the field to the different parking lots. The walkways were nice and it's quite beautiful there with trees probably 100 years old. We had a great time but we did take our own chairs and blankets...
