AMAZING!!! Our family went to Lehner’s on 10/13. We have been many times before and it’s always wonderful, however this time was extra special. My son purposed to his girlfriend. His plans for the following weekend feel through and we had already planned to go as a family this weekend so we made this the new plan. Shelly and Billie were beyond WONDERFUL! We could not have pulled this together without them! We had to hide many family members so she didn’t see them until he was about to ask. They helped with that, and Bille just found out that day and sprung in to action making it all go PERFECTLY!!!! Billie even added some flowers where pics were going to be taken and also took a video and pictures which was a wonderful surprise. The best part was Billie and Shelly were truly excited for our family and it showed! His girlfriend was extremely surprised and I truly believe without Shelly and Billie helping it wouldn’t have gone as wonderful as it did. Our family appreciates you both so much! As far as the farm itself it’s one of our favorites and we have gone since my 14 year old has been in first grade! Now we love it even more! Thank...
Read moreThis is a great family and budget friendly experience for the entire family. On weekends an entrance fee gets you into the farm with unlimited use of almost every activity including the corn maze. Our kids liked the zip-line chairs, the bounce pillow, the put-put course, and the corrugated drain pipe that made you feel like a hamster on a wheel. Parents, have your camera ready if your children (especially teenagers) decide they want to race in these. The wipeouts are photo worthy (I would encourage the smaller children not to race but to just have fun with the experience). There are a few other activities that have an additional charge such as the paintball guns and the slingshot. Absolutely come hungry or at least workup an appetite while you are there. The smoker runs on weekends and the treats taste like they were homemade in grandma's kitchen earlier in the morning. Pricing for the food is very reasonable as well. The pumpkin selection was great, but keep in mind with any farm, the crop size and results will vary from season to season so don't judge too harshly for something they have...
Read moreWe visit lehner's every fall for some family fun. This was the first year we visited on a weekday, and the experience was different but still good. Comparisons below.
Weekday: not crowded, bakery and restaurant not open, limited activities open Available activities: mini golf, petting zoo, maze inside the barn, corn maze, pedal car races, indoor playground by the restaurant, gift shop, pumpkin picking of course.
Weekend: crowded, ballet and restaurant open, all activities open Additional activities open: zip line, Target shooting, mini train ride, inflatable ball (zorb), giant inflatable trampoline.
If you're wondering whether to go through the corn maze with little ones, we went with a 5 yr, 3yr, and baby and enjoyed it. They put trivia and a scavenger hunt throughout the maze for kiddos. You can also choose between a longer or shorter route.
The only thing that would have made our trip a little better would be if there have been more green or white pumpkins left. We visited the first weekend in October and they seemed to be...
