RockFish Church — Attraction in Raeford

Recently moving due to the military, I was seeking a church in the area. It looks so nice outside and inside; everything seems very meticulously thought out. However, when I walked in, I realized the feeling was very different. I clearly did not know where to go, so I was looking around for signs to where everything was. The ushers just stared at me, didn’t say anything to me although I just stood there looking around, clearly lost. I finally had to ask the ushers where the sanctuary was and one opened the door for me. I walked into the sanctuary and no one greeted me. I had to ask an usher if there was a seat available from his vantage point because I couldn’t see any open and it was dark. The church does not feel diverse at all. People don’t seem friendly and welcoming. I’m used to fellowship and relationships with other Christians. They love their children and seem to have a good program for them. It seems they are working on the parking lot because you end walking on grass and rocks when you park. The two things I enjoyed about the church was the praise and worship team and the message taught by the pastor. Rockfish Church has a very serene, quiet environment. So if that’s the environment you are looking for then you will love the church. I’m more of an active person so I need a church that’s captivating, animated, and loud and so forth so it was too...

Rockfish Church is a family that not only gathers for worship together, but also reaches out into the community. The actions of the church really match the Bible-based teachings. Where there is a need, RockFish Church is out there meeting those needs: homeless ministry where we provide not only food, clothing, hygiene products, but also help with job searches and filling out applications; emergency response to help in times of crisis like fire, flood, and natural disasters; addiction and negative habits support group; food assistance; counseling… just so many food services that I can’t even list here. And the worship… it is so anointed! You just need to experience this wonderful church family. Humble pastors that speak truth and talk to every individual they remember your name considering how big the church is . The people are amazing, wonderful, kind, loving and they treat you like family. Been going for four years and I get excited to go to church every single time. You can come as you are you can feel comfortable in what you are wearing because no one is judging you. The inside is beautiful big and the decoration is pretty. The worship by Allen is awesome you feel the presence of God and every one on the worship team can sing. This church does everything they can to help others that are in need like on Saturday they have free food they give and you can go inside eat the food and also listen to the service.
