I visited Chuparosa vineyards for the first time after seeing the excellent, and know I know now , well-deserved internet reviews. Honestly, I didn't know there was any place in San Diego County that made such great wine. I asked the owner, manager, field-worker , and winemaker Eddie wny he makes wine and he said, "becuase I like wine." The wines are dry (no residual sugar). Again, I asked why, "he answered becuase I like it that way." How freshing it is to fine someone who follows his heart and passion! Buy the Malbec (if there is any left.) Salud to you and your...

The value was exceptional, we left with two bottles of wine and a bottle of their delicious olive oil. Carolyn had fresh warm sourdough bread to enjoy with their olive oil. It was complimentary with the tasting, and being able to enjoy this with our wine really sets this place apart from our other experiences here wine tasting in Ramona. My fiancée and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here, thank you Carolyn!!!!!
For those that love red wines, we fell in love with the...
