Played here this past June with my 10 year old son. My son is special needs and has a number of disabilities both mental and physical. The only thing my son loves more than his family is Golf. We waited patiently for our spot in line to commence. We started 12 minutes after our scheduled time but saw no reason to cause a fuss. We were paired with a nice gentleman that understood my son's disabilities and was extremely kind. However, the grounds manager was less than accommodating. After 2 failed attempts at the Tee box, We moved my son to the Jr Tee. At this time, the grounds manager drove his cart directly at my son and I and with a very aggressive tone said that if we don't keep it moving, we will be asked to leave. I explained my son's situation and the gentleman golfing with us also plead for my son as well. The grounds manager seemed unmoved and shouted "you're not the only ones here to golf today!" Upset and embarrassed, my son asked if we could just leave. We thanked our new friend for his efforts and we left. I guess they would prefer only a certain type of people to play their 'Grand' course. Shame on you for the mistreatment of a special...
Read moreHonestly the course was great and well kept. But the reason why I gave it 2 stars was because of how we were treated. First off, coming into the golf shop we were already getting weird vibes like we werenât wanted there. But what really tipped the hat was when there was a guy on Hole 5 waiting for us on top of the turn literally staring at us the entire time while we were teeing off and finishing up the hole. He gave us a lecture about how we were holding up the entire course. Mind you, we werenât the best golfers but we were all around the 20-25 handicap so we still understood what to do and not to do. Anyway, it was the foursome behind us that was holding everything up and he once didnât talk to them about anything. Overall, not a good, friendly environment for minorities. Would...
Read moreMy friend and I played 7/22 on a Wednesday Night we tees of at 5:33 pm hoping to get 18 in... as we got off of 9 in under 2 hours a group of 13 golfers teed off followed by a 6 some... needless to say this ruined our chances of playing. I called to alert the clubhouse and was told no one can come out and tell them. We ended up walking off at hole 13 as the sun set... upon completion of the round I spoke with the manger Mack, and he he could muster was, âSorry.â Mind you this group was not an event or league! The group is called the âdrunken 9.â Beware if you decide to play this course on Wednesday nights or any other time! In addition to say the course is poorly run is an understatement, the manger...
