Inspiration Point — Attraction in Rancho Palos Verdes

You have to walk at least a few miles to get here since there is no parking at all nearby. It still used to be a cool spot to check out when hiking in Portugese Bend Reserve, but now the City put up fences to restrict access to the views. I can understand putting up fences to prevent people from falling off the cliffs, but at least put them near the cliffs. The City put the fences so far back from the cliffs that you can't actually see any of the views from behind them. You have to climb over the fence to see the views, which defeats the purpose. The last time I was there, a guy from the City came by to yell at us for climbing over the fence and threatened to ticket us next time. Overall, this is just poor execution by the City to ruin a formerly nice...
