We purchased 12 birds from this farm and upon unboxing we realized that were extremely ill, malnourished, and disease ridden. The animals were so bad some almost featherless - the owner of the farm- had to come pick them up this morning. A family member of ours purchased some birds as well, and some are already deceased. The owner admitted to having 1500 birds over capacity and a bacterial infection among his flock. The owner (aware of the problem) promised to refund for the contaminated items purchased such as hay, bedding, nutrients, etc for the extremely filthy and infected birds, that could spread and kill other animals including wild birds, but is now refusing. He made us aware that we can have future bacterial infestations because of this. He is selling eggs meat and live birds with bacterial infections knowingly. Ps- in regards to comment below- $200 was not random items. It was damaged unusable goods bc the entire flock you sold us was contagiously sick and the hays, beddings, nesting pads, bags of sand, and DE for large chicken coop now need to be destroyed as per the state instruction. Also- I am not affiliated with the bad reviews below. I think you are sending a standard response.

What a wonderful farm! Went there on Saturday to get fresh chickens to make a Colombian Sancocho, which is a traditional soup. I couldn’t have been more fortunate to find Jorge who helped me select the right ones for the soup. He was absolutely the friendliest and most caring person ever. You can really tell he loves taking care of the animals and super helpful with his customers. Would definitely recommend Kahana farms for farm fresh, free range chickens and eggs!

Driving past the farm during the outrageous egg price hike inspired me to stop Modi was so generous with his time and knowledge and you could sense his love for animal husbandry. I got several & was surprised at the joy they give me. And eggs! Thank you.

Shame...Monti seemed like a nice guy ..... I rented an excavator and did a decent amount of work at this place..... I think I only charged him 60 bucks an hour Plus the rental..... Worked a couple weekends up there..... I didn't break anything..... cleared a lot of land.... Only got one payment to cover the rental..... He burnt me pretty good..... Not trying to give a sob story..... However, I don't think I've ever had a customer that was unsatisfied with me including Mr. Monti himself...... I'm certainly not perfect but damn did I get a lot of work done for him and I know he definitely had the upper hand on the business deal...... I gave him a huge break on the labor rate because he said I could ride my Motocross bike on his property at my convenience....... Never got paid so I never rode...

Called this morning, the gentleman over the phone was very nice explaining the options and $$, I went In the person did not gave any option and charged $25 for a chicken which was not fresh but from the refrigerator… hoping the eggs would be fresh … disappointed after driving 40 miles for the fresh live chicken meat :(

so I cant reply to the response: If this clarify your consusion - all I was told by your employee was wait for 10 minutes and each chcken = $25, I was not shown any & did not pick any, I'm guessng you may have some video recordings to look into too

How much fresher do you want it to be? = just the way wnen butchered, warm (100+°F). & fresh meat not like 30 - 40 °F .

Thank you for...
