Lake Byllesby — Attraction in Randolph Township

The Cannon River creates Goodhue County's most beautiful lake.....actually a reservoir. Brautiful limestone bluffs, good swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, fishing. Accessable from both sides: Dakota County Regional Park along the north shoreline and Lake Byllesby Park along south shoreline. Now both parks are joined by a bike bridge over the Cannon River below Lake Byllesby Dam. Currently bike trail connects both parks then follows east along lower Cannon River to Hannah's Bend City Park and the Cannon Valley Bike Trail all the way...

We love boating here. Theres a camp ground, 3 boat launches. Since its a river fed lake they dont have much weeds but you have to watch for floating logs. Its only about 10 minutes away from the dairy inn, kids like going there for ice scream after. Tueres also...
