Northbank Day Use Area — Attraction in Ranger

The entire Carter's Dam and Lake area was the best part of my 3-day birthday trip. The lake was so beautiful and the Northbank Park gave the best views of both the lake and the dam. The two overlook areas near the Nature Center had nice views as well. The clerk at the Nature Center could have shown a little professionalism. He never addressed me as I came in because he was sleeping on the desk with his phone audio loud blasting a football game. I attend often. Nice place to watch the sky, the lake, the tiny flowers, all the outside things at a lake. Close to many good trails.

No boat ramp exactly there, but several are very close, a couple less than a mile or two.

My daughter and I grabbed some food at Buc-cees in Adairsville, GA then drove here to have a picnic. The visitor center was closed for the day, but the day use area was still open.
