Dix Park — Attraction in Ravenna Township

This park has great trails to explore! I found four trails to hike along with a story time trail. They just opened a natural nature play area that is very cool! I was treated to a bunch of different butterflies, bees and dragonflies. Theres a wide variety of birds and chipmunks galore. There’s a paved parking area with plenty of parking spots! Tons of spring wildflowers! We went on April 11. Lots and lots of Marsh Marigolds. Beautiful. Ground in many places was carpeted in little flowers. Been a while so only name I remember is Yellow Trout Lily. When I’ve gone at other times of the year I’ve not found the park nearly as interesting. But we’ll definitely be back...
