Itâs OK. Iâve been to this place twice in 2 years and Iâve never been overly impressed. Two years ago it was my first time doing the pumpkin patch thing with my kids and we came here. Then, one of my kidâs schools took a field trip here this year. Given my past experience, I didnât really want to go on the field trip but I didnât want my kid to miss out on being there with her schoolmates. I wish theyâd do something about the bathroom situation. Iâm not a fan of porta-pottys and having to use hand sanitizer over warm water and soap. They have a handwashing trough but itâs not near the toilets. But thatâs just a big issue for me. If youâre a man and only have boys it might be fine but for women with little girls who are usually at the age of potty training, itâs not ideal. But once again, this may not bother everyone. They have the hayride, a corn pit, the jumping balloon, chickens and goats, an area for rope swinging on the hay bales, and numerous slides and such. A favorite attraction might be the track where they have multiple vehicles to ride (tricycles but bigger). Also, they have tractor pulled trains that the kids love but the entire place is extremely dusty (once again may just be bothersome to me) so when you ride behind the tractor youâll get covered in dust. We did a different one last year, and once I had something to compare it to, I can say that the cons definitely outweigh the pros on this one. Unless someone else is paying, I might not consider this one again. There are others who offer the same or similar attractions PLUS more. And itâs just worth it. But not knocking this place tho. But I will co-sign on others about the staffâŠâŠ Iâve not had a rude experience outright, but for the most part you can tell by their tones how...
Read moreAbsolutely love Curry Farms! We came last year on a field trip with my son's ABA group, and all the kids had the best time. We came again this year and had even more fun! Soon as we arrived, we were approached by a lady from KNOE news, and asked to interview about how felt coming there during Covid and if we felt more comfortable being in an open air environment. We loved that everyone kept their distance and all the children seemed to enjoy themselves and stick to their respective groups and very much respected personal space. There was also a baby goat that was able to get out of the enclosure and he was such a delight, jumping into a large log and letting you pet him and his mom who was inside the enclosure. Absolutely had a blast, sooooo many fun, stimulating, and non-pressure activities. Kids are encouraged to go at their own pace, and since there are so many different areas of play, if it was crowded in one area, there was always something else to fall back to. What a wonderful, charming place to spend autumn...
Read moreOur school has gone to Curry Farms for MANY years and tolerated the rudeness of the owner repeatedly because the kids enjoy the place. Today was the last straw. She was rude to adults and children, to adults in front of children and was extremely unprofessional. She complained that we were too early (weâve arrived at the same exact time every other year). Then later even asked when we were leaving, like she couldnât wait for us to get out of her hair. She marched around demanded to know who was in charge of our group so she could berate them about stopping the buses in the wrong place. Itâs unfortunate that she chooses to run her business with this kind of attitude because it really is a fun place for people to enjoy during the fall season. Our staff decided we will not ask our student families to give another penny to this establishment in the future. We will find a similar venue for fall field trips and support a business that knows how to treat people...
