This is a great place to paddle. There is a full boat launch at norcross point but a roadside access on summer street is easier for canoes and kayaks. It is required that boats be hosed off before entering the lake so do this at home or at norcross to prevent milfoil invasion. I saw loons, herons, and a bald eagle yesterday. Flat water is great for new paddlers and there is six miles of lake to explore. Private properties ring the lake but the park at norcross point is free to use and has clean bathroom, picnic tables, and grills to complete your day. I live here but see something new every time I come.

My family spent a few days at a friends camp on the lake. It was so beautiful and peaceful, we ended up staying an extra night. Beautiful views of the lake, with fish jumping, herons flying by, and loons calling throughout the day. We took a rowboat out one evening, and the loons swam up within a few feet of our boat. This is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway.

A first time visit to this beautiful, clean strawberry farm…resulted in another visit a few days later. The strawberries were big & delicious. The rows of fruit were clean and easy to access and the staff was more than helpful, from start to finish. Looking forward to next year’s berry picking visit!

Beautiful and clean lake. We often fish here and you always run into friendly people enjoying the lake. Very easy to launch a boat and plenty of room on the water. Lake is marked well to avoid danger areas. We often see plenty of loons and usually eagles as well. As far as fish there are yellow and white perch, sunfish, some trout, and...
