Creekside Farm and Market — Attraction in Reading Township

The corn maze was great and staff was nice. I unfortunately cannot say the same about the pumpkins and gourds. We visited as first timers on October 5 and purchased 8 pumpkins from the patch and a mix of 7 pumpkins/gourds at the market. One started to rot within a week or two. Today I noticed a few others rotting/molding. Some of the pumpkins in the patch were already going bad when we were there. I don’t know if having two weeks of rain prior to our visit, then temperatures being all over the place this month had anything to do with it, but we’ve never had this issue before. Great Farmers market with tons of pumpkins. All that you pick pumpkins were $5 and we found many that would be acceptable. We were there late in the season and there were definitely some rotted ones but plenty of good ones still available along with carts and carts of already picked pumpkins.
