Deer Path Park — Attraction in Readington Township

I miss the fishing pond. The new inclusive playground is nice, but it will be better in the cooler months. The times we went we had to leave shortly after arriving because there is absolutely no shade anywhere near the playground. The equipment gets way too hot to use or enjoy during hot days. The dark colored slide on a hot day burns your child’s skin and the dark colored rubber gravel just reflects heat. They need a canopy or some trees near the playground. Will try again...

Hiking Trail Review Round Mountain via Deer Path Park - 3.3 Miles

The parking lot is very large with plenty of room to park. The trail itself is very easy and scenic. You get views of farmland and woods and overall is very pretty. The trail itself is very wet and muddy. Parts of the trail is overgrown and loaded with thorns. There are also parts with large bunches of downed trees. I would definitely rate the trail higher if it was cleaned up a bit more and the conditions...
