Hillcrest Park — Attraction in Readington Township

This place is a dream for softball parents with dogs. My daughter played here for a tournament and I was grateful that I could bring my dogs with me. The dog park is huge! The best part is, that if your child is playing at field 4, you can watch the game from the dog park.

The fields are all dirt, there are bleachers to sit on or if you have a chair you can sit under the trees in the outfield. I took off one star because of two things : not all fields are numbered which is annoying when you're new to the park. Also, the consession stand closed in the afternoon leaving us to scramble to find something for the kids to eat. I believe it opens back up eventually but it would have been nice if they had a sign saying they were opening up again. Overall, I would like to have more...

Hillcrest Park in Readington is a Beautifuly kept park for the whole family. Lots of open sports fields, trees and open spaces to walk. Also a great jungle gym for the kids. Great place to play on a nice weekend. I can’t speak for the snack stand, I saw one but it looked small and was closed quickly. But there’s parks for kids and the fields are close.
