Rocky Mountain Adventure Rentals — Attraction in Red Cliff

I had a great experience in the Red Cliff location and Vail Pass area. I've rented with other companies in the same area and this was as good or better. What really made the difference for me was the Garmin mini device they provide. Other renters don't do that. I was traveling by myself, not a group. I got stuck in a remote location and was able to text for help. They came and helped dig me out. You pay a little extra for that rescue service, but it was well worth it. With other rental companies, I would have been walking for miles. Thankfully I wasn't injured. They were able to track my location deep in the trees via the device. This could literally have been a life saver in a worse situation.

For those complaining about the snow or lack of, RMAR obviously has no control over that, but I was advised in advance where to go to find the best conditions. Always ask before you rent. However, I do sympathize with your...

Worst snowmobile experience I’ve had in 3 years of renting sleds in Colorado specifically, been riding since I was 15. We rented 2 powder sleds, when we arrived there was almost no snow. They told us we would be fine we just needed to get out on the trail a bit to find powder. The sleds over heated every 5-10min and we spent the first 45min trying to get out to where they recommended. Once there, still no powder. Sleds kept over heating. We headed back as the worker told us if we kept over heating to just head back. Once we get back the owner tells us they won’t refund us any money back, and that we are not skilled enough for these sleds and that’s the problem. Completely unprofessional and misleading. Tony was very helpful, kind and friendly. There were 3 ppl in our group, all of us are experienced riders. We rented 2 sleds for half a day.. Sleds were in great shape. Only complaint was the safety bars for passenger on the sled for 2 riders having rode snowmobiles most of our lives these hip bruiser apparatuses are unnecessary but it's obvious why they're equipped on rentals.
