Steelhead Falls — Attraction in Redmond

What an amazing easy little hike to the falls . Don't forget the rock shaped like a castle tower you will see it up high on the right as you go along the trail. If you have a young kid though please keep an eye out . My son was five ish and ran ahead with my brother he slipped off somehow and was literally cling on the edge thought for sure I would lose him. A truly beautiful location with a decent hike to get to the main fall area. We went on a weekday so it was pretty crowded with younger kids 18-21 and not much of any areas to go in and get wet so I would suggest going on a week day if you're looking for a quiet day with less foot traffic. Also, not a good hike for younger kids as the footing can be very rocky and trails get tight. Cool waterfall and it was quite a hike. It’s not that far but on a hot day the elevation change can really get to you. Absolutely beautiful but the trails get pretty narrow at some parts.

The main thing I love here is that there is no grafiti on the rocks unlike several other waterfalls and trails I’ve been on. If you have the time and energy I would go here
