Great place to take your dog for off-leash fun. The lower part of the park is full of dogs. There is a shaded stream at the bottom and some nice hiking trails. Locals normally set up a few rope swings but test before you use just to make sure everything is still snug. A few picnic tables are available. This area of the park is not as crowded and the kids that are here are typically a little bit older and adventurous. My dog loved the off-leash freedom I was running with other dogs and playing in the stream. My 6 & 8 year old kids also loved the area.
