We only walked across the bride. I thought it may have its own bridge away from the highway. Sadly, there's a walking side of the highway bridge, so you'll hear vehicles the whole time.

It was beautiful scenery. We crossed from Duncannon to this entry and then back. We found the trail easy. But if I was coming off the trail, it seemed like there was no direction to where the bridge was. The famous trail sign was for the road, and it was up farther from the bridge. More difficult than I expected, but a very enjoyable hike. The views at the top aren't the greatest just because of the treeline. The view about an 1/8 of the way up is actually better than the top. Tons of cool rocks to climb and hang out on though. It was worth...

Amazing hiking through Pennsylvania but thinking that this trill connects all the way to Maine and Georgia is just astonishing! That is a very long hike is long hike much further than I am able to hike nonetheless the trail here in Pennsylvania...
