CAL Center (Communication Arts and Learning Center) — Attraction in Reedsburg

I would give 5 star purely for the performance i watched but that had nothing to do with the cal center itself. The seat was comfortable enough, but was obviously not thoroughly cleaned as there was trash and squished candy in the carpet. There was also a distinct smell in the room that was neither bad or pleasant to me.

What do you readers really expect, its in a high school its not going to be the best place for a show. But the PHDS had a 5 star...

Cal Center is in Reedsburg High School. It's a nice theater, comfortable seats. Also the lighting, audio, and video are good. Not a huge theater; I'm guessing it seats 500-600. We saw a Christmas musical show and we had a nice time. There's plenty parking and accessibility is good. They advertise shows they book at the Cal. It's a good variety of plays and musical acts. The Cal is a great cultural resource for Reedsburg and surrounding...

For a small town school auditorium, this is really nice. Well-planned layout. Good acoustics. Always like going to my granddaughters school concerts. Just realized they have a professional performance program. Definitely hoping to go to a couple of them during their 2022-2023...
