Homestead Farm Rehoboth — Attraction in Rehoboth

If you want to be treated rudely and spoken down to then this is the place to shop. Upon arriving it was a little hard to find due to no business logo/sign visable. When you first pull up it's a dirt lot so I parked on the side of another (customer) car as I would any other parking lot. I was not greeted upon arrival. The lady at register was on her phone texting, I had to approach her to get assistance. I kindly asked if she had some duck eggs available. She went out back to look and told me she only had 1, I unfortunately needed 3 but was willing to take the 1. She came out with 3 eggs and told me tutkey and duck eggs where the same. I told her unfortunately I needed them to be duck as it's what my aunt requested. Her response was very condescending and continued to tell me whatever my aunt needed them for, "the turkey eggs would be just as good." The car I parked next to was pulling out and she then tells me, yet again in a condescending tone "I don't know why you would park there they can't get out, you have to move your car!" They had zero trouble getting out but I still moved it because she then said I was blocking others yet there were no other cars out there. Honestly the most bitter soul I have ever encountered, Even my teen was dumbfounded by her...

We ordered a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving from this deplorable business. I called the Monday before Thanksgiving to inquire about a pickup time, and was told that they would call us Tuesday or Wednesday when it's ready... the woman was very short and rude with me. Wednesday came, and no call all day. I called around mid-afternoon, and was promised that we would have a turkey by the end of the day... She didn't call me back until 9:15 that evening, and acted frustrated when I requested to pick it up the following morning.

The next morning when I called back, she missed my call and called me back, leaving a voicemail. She forgot to hang up the phone at the end of the voicemail, and I was thankfully able to hear the conversation that she proceeded to have with her husband... She asked him what temperature it had been the night before, to which he responded 51°. She went on to tell him that she had left our turkey outside, along with two others. Her husband then told her to put it in their house, so when I arrive to pick it up it would LOOK like it had been in a cooler. I immediately called her back and told her that I would not be picking up our turkey from her.

Do not buy from these people! They were willing to put my family's health at risk by covering up...

Very rude customer service. Their hours of operations per google said 10am-6pm. We got there at 11am and there's no way of knowing where the shop is or where to park or even if we are at the right place. When we got inside the owner consistently made us aware they're open but not open and made us feel unwelcome. There was no organization to the frozen foods and ice cream was in random places on top of meat. The gluten free foods were on top of meat squished. The shop was a mess and their dog kept jumping on us scratching my chest and bled a little. The lady made an assumption that we were only there for the highland cows raising her voice while we explained that we were only there to check out the farm and shop some farm produce but the way she treated us didn't make us want to stay long.
