Birdsong Nature Center — Attraction in Reno

Very peaceful and quiet!!! Besides the sounds of nature. Need some stress relief and like the outdoors this is the place. There is a 5$ price of admission, don't know if there is a season pass or not. About 12 miles of trails and most will lead you back to the main path. Also there are markers staked to trees along the way as well as a map you get when you pay the admission fee. Very easy to find your way. Birdsong is run by amazing nature lovers. They are also very involved with the community to promote conservation and nature. It is such a huge tract of land and their maps are very useful. Birdsong is a beautiful place, and within five minutes of my first visit it became clear how special it was. There are plenty of birds to watch and listen to, but there is also a plethora of native wildflowers and spectacular insects (dragon flies, grass hoppers, beetles, etc.) that you don't get to see due to all-to-common habitat loss.
