My family and I visited this zoo on Saturday, and we were pleasantly surprised—there was no wait to get in! It’s the perfect destination for children and those who prefer a shorter walking distance.
We loved the drive-thru experience, but the biggest surprise was the walking section. Peacocks and turkeys roam freely, adding to the unique charm of this place. There are plenty of spots to sit and take in the beautiful surroundings, making it easy to relax and enjoy the view.
This is not your typical zoo—I saw animals I’ve never encountered before! It’s evident that the animals are well cared for, and you can truly feel the love the owners have for them. As a family-owned zoo, they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners are incredibly sweet, and the best part? You can even hold a goat—how...
Read moreWe were on a road trip and I saw a sign for Sandy Oak Ranch so we decided to stop. Had no expectations going in. We went in the morning when the zoo first opened.

The second part was the farm area, which was really cool! We were able to feed goats, emus, a baby cow, and other animals. They also let us hold baby goats and a baby duck! There were also a variety of other animals, including free range peacocks. For a fee we were able to hold a baby alligator.
We met the owner as we were walking around. He was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Overall we had a great time and...

Still a work in progress. They are on their second season. But this is a great way to spend a couple hours seeing animals you won't get to see often, if ever.
Feeding the gators was an extra charge, but that was fun as well. Met one of the owners, Josh. Good guy.
