Bubbling Springs Nature Preserve — Attraction in Resort Township

A beautiful, but short walk just outside of Petoskey. It's a very gorgeous place all year round, but avoid this place in the winter unless you drive something that can get out of small icy parking lots. Your short walk is rewarded with numerous bubbling spots in the water. It's very relaxing and pleasant to sit and watch mother nature do her job. The path is clean but a little muddy in spots. There are a lot of fallen trees next to the trail. We visited in July and there wasn’t much water in the creek. It was evident that the ice storm had done damage to the bridge and it appears they are doing repairs but it’s at the end of the hike, so no real problem. The Bubbling Spring is small.
