Blew a tire 1/4 mile away while traveling by motorcycle , no cell service for many miles in any direction on my 51st birthday/ saterday at 5:30 pm, amazingly I was able to send out a text message to my family in bend who magicly appeared 6 hours later to rescue us . Good spot to stop and picnic. Plenty of shaded grassy areas for kids to stretch & play before hitting the road again. The house isn't open (likely due to COVID-19), but there is enough to check out outside. There is a trail that leads to the river, but nothing significant.
