A quiet & clean park; this park is a central staple for play in our Rhinelander community.
In the summer find waterski shows, music in the park, a nice stroll or roller blade, and the best part? A great beach for swimming!
This park holds plenty of history with many of the trees having been planted 100+ years ago (maybe a little less) after one of the largest area saw mills and logging hubs closed up shop.
Whether you’re looking for a place for a quiet picnic or a fast moving baseball game - this place is a hotspot for bringing your community together.
In the summer find churches coming together for outdoor services, fireworks on the 4th of July, sunsets with skiers & boaters, a pier or two for catching a few fish and by fall, crisp fire-red maples, final sunsets, and fishermen getting in their final catches from their boats.

Tons of parking all around the park. Brand new amphitheater with covered bandstand near the playground. Lots of shade trees nearby. Looks like a new fishing pier might be going in early 2023. Besides that, there are 3 metal docks for fishing within the park.
One of the better places in Rhinelander for Pokémon GO that isn't downtown. From the boat launch to the beach there are 3 gyms in the park, plus a 4th is accessible at the nearby church. At least a dozen PokéStops, maybe even 20 in total. Might be more popping up soon with the recent additions...

So many things to take advantage of while you're there. -a walk along the lake shore, a playground for the kiddos, and so...
