Breckinridge Park Pavilions — Attraction in Richardson

As far as public parks & recreation goes Breckenridge is on the nicer side of things. It has the city services onsite in a hidden old rock quarry, so the park is kept well maintained. Given the huge size of the park there are several distinct areas. For example a North area where there are baseball fields, fire department buildings, and park facilities maintenance buildings. There are several gated parking lots with ample space for large sporting events. They have enough soccer fields to host an entire league or tournaments at once. Had a beautiful time there with my family on the 4th of July. Awesome fireworks show even though we didn't buy the tickets for the lot with the bounce house,etc. The view of the fireworks were just as good from the free parking lot, and had a playground for the kids. A REALLY NICE huge park. Many hiking/biking trails. Big pavilion with 2 long rows of tables with benches.
