This was supposed to be a great experience for my graduation celebration but seem to be we came upon a problematic group of people including the staff that we'd call about reserving this particular space for my daughter's graduation picnic.Wed encountered a young lady who'd came to us asking did we have this area reserved. I'd explained to her that we'd called the number listed on the park sign and we spoke with a representative of the park who'd then confirmed that You may have this first come first serve We had all our food ,decorations that had to be moved to another area of the park. When we spoke to a nother representative she'd gotten so unprofessional inconsiderate and very mean oriented speaking to us in a way the seem she should not be a employee or representative this facility. We feel what you say to anyone inquiring about any park reservations should be told all credible information. Other than that we were able to set up on the other side by patrons of our hospital, clinic and other organizations that celebrated this experience. We will bring this farther..not only giving reviews but letting others know about how we were confronted. We are very disappointed knowing that we are always at this park just bringing my grandchildren our having a quick picnic. Its a beautiful park but those behind the scene need customer service training...If I could give a... negative -0... I would .If you go here expect sudden changes when reserveing.Make sure you have a back up plan or someone to make sure before you give any celebration or party..we were bless but...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed with this experience. I was initially told I had to fill out an online application before attending, after which I would be given a specific time to visit. I paid $57, expecting to tour the facility first, as I clearly stated my intention to see the camp environment. However, I was pressured into signing an annual contract before being allowed to view anything. It’s unreasonable to ask someone to sign a non-refundable, one-year contract without even letting them see the campsite or the rooms. When I requested to see the room and bed, I was denied. In the end, they refused to refund the $57, which is unacceptable. This feels like a scam, and I am considering legal action. Read moreCrowley Park is one of Richardson's true treasures. The lush green lawns, large shade trees, and quiet pond provide a peaceful respite from the city bustle. The walking pathways are clean and well-marked, and the bridges give a great visual appeal to the landscape—ideal for a leisurely stroll or a photo opportunity.
There is lots of space for families, joggers, and picnickers, and the reflections on the river are stunning on a beautiful day. It's a park that feels well-kept and pleasant, with the ideal balance of nature and design.
Highly recommended for a relaxing afternoon or...
