Where I grew up @...Russellville has a fairly deep history going waaay back to Indians I guess...but I was Russellville Ballroom pizza & swimming @ Goldenrod...senior skip day (every day) @ the Park with bump-er to bump-er cruising all summer then 4 wheeling some firewood thru the unplowed roads for snowmobile fun until the sun came up. GoodTimes Hackey Sack & BMX

Let me add, my Grandad laid up the fieldstone for the pavilion hearths, beautiful fireplaces, beautiful area, his clan actually lived inside the park for years, with other families living there also...pretty amazing to hear Dad talk about where all his brothers and sisters swam or chased each other around. Heartfelt RIP with love & appreciation for all the Shannonclan kids that guided me as Aunts or Uncles...miss you...

Its a well kept park rangers once to two times a week good playground and pavilions with grills when I metal detect around pavilion 1 I see people in the tree line watching what I do on the river side last year while taking a brake someone came out of the tree line and walking fast I got in my car as I was starting it they started to run at me and was 75feet away when I took off they turned around and ran back where they came from the park service needs to cut the brush out to get a good view I went to the ranger station Genesee Stanley and talked to a female ranger she said the brush is there for the wild life so how many tragedys have to happen before it's feasible to clean it out go there in a group or take a guard dog every time I went to pavilion 1 I saw someone inside...

This is a very large park which is split into a some what of a figure 8 by roads. There are several pavilions a few are very unique with very large fieldstone fire places and actual giant pine logs used as supports . There are 3 marked ball diamonds. The only water is from hand pumps. There is a swinging bridge and massive stone stairway leading to it a very picturesque setting a local favorite spot for wedding and senior pics ect. There is river access with fishing in multiple areas. And several miles of hiking trails and biking mostly flat easy going. Horse riding is also good.there is a large playscape for...

I love this park. Absolutely beautiful. The pavilions make for perfect gatherings. We had my dad’s Celebration of Life here in the stone pavilion right by the playground. We were able to easily host 70-100 people with all the picnic tables and location was easy entertainment for the kids. This is also a great place to take family photos. Just be sure to bring bug spray. We got eaten alive!

I’ve been going to Richfield Park since I was very young. The park has lots of walking paths, trees, pavilions, tennis 🎾 courts, basketball 🏀 courts, a BMX park and a playground area. The park is well maintained and has Porto-potties available. It’s a pleasurable park with over 365 acres to explore and provides a nice getaway to every day city life.
