Rush Creek Lake — Attraction in Richland Township

This lake used to be amazing to take the kids fishing. People dont get the concept take out what you pack in. Theres trash bins that people are not using. Line and hooks stung across the ground. Its not hard to take a moment to clean up after yourself. We no long fish from the bank here because we dont like dealing with everyones trash anymore. Other wise the lake is beautiful from a boat where people cant drop their trash. Rangers need to start enforcing rules and regulations better...

If I recall this lake is 29 acres so a nice size. Perfect to fish and for me, kayak. Lots of wildlife you can see from the water including cranes. There's a surprising amount of parking for cars and trucks/trailers. There are trash cans on the bank and a couple picnic tables but NO restroom facilities at all. Plan ahead for sure. Rush creek is a super nice place to fish when it's not crowded! Me and the family love it!! There's nothing to do other then fish or put ur boat in the water but if u like to fish and ur local it's worth the try!! It would be nice to see more trash cans and maybe grills put in for the family's! Everyone likes to leave all their trash everywhere...
