Richlands Town Recreation Park — Attraction in Richlands

Well I haven't taken my daughter back to the pool since 2023 because that year it was told a kid had head lice an instead of trying to prevent the spread since none of their chemicals kill lice an it's a public area everyone's welcome that I could leave if it bothers me which it did but no one working there has any right to say anything, so it being a public area needless to say I spoke to the kids father an told that it had been said to my kid she had lice they left immediately but still already gotten to everyone in that pool an it turned into super lice within aatyer of days an was the worst thing I've ever experienced. Other than that I absolutely love the rec park. Played rec basketball for 4 years growing up as well as cheering and my daughter cheered played soccer and volleyball. Not always a bad time there but need to step up their cleanliness guidelines public pool or not we pay to be there liel everyone else, but I don't pay to be attacked...

They have a really nice weight room and gym. They need some chairs outside the pool instead of tanning chair. They do have 2 tables with umbrellas and chairs with 4 chairs, but come on people 8 chairs and they usually only have 1or maybe 2 people at them. Also they have these things called breaks and those seem pointless , send two in bring two out(life guards) cause they go in for like 10 min and two different ones come out? other than that the prices are great and everyone's nice and they play music and the food they...

Wonderful place to take your kids to have fun and be safe. There is someone in our town that thinks the rec park should be shut down but where would our kids have to go for sports through the winter. So Mr. Ratliff you better think about the kids future not how deep you can get...
