WHAT AN EXPERIANCE. The guide (Paul) was really friendly and very well informed. The focus of the museum is the growth of the Richmond area based on the sponsorship of Henry Ford from 1925 to 1945. Not CARS! PEOPLE! Jobs with good pay and building a community not just a company. Schools, bakery, general store, saw mill, and farming cash crops. As well as industrial development and engineering. The town continues to grow with the seeds planted by Henry. ( hint look for the Georgia fruit cake for a real treat)

Was driving by and saw that this place was open. Stopped in and the very knowledgeable staff gave a great tour and was very very knowledgeable. It started out with a short movie then we looked at the rest of the rooms. The museum does have history of the local area. However is mainly focused on Henry Ford. I’m still surprised all the things Henry Ford was involved in to include the building of Richmond Hills.

Wow! What an amazing museum. The layout of information is great, and there were so many interesting things to look at. I real appreciated that the informational boards were easy to read and included photographs along with a mix of physical items. I learned a lot of new information about the town I grew up in. Make sure you ask the attendant to open the barber shop for you — it’s a time capsule!

The Richmond Hill History Museum is a hidden gem! My recent visit was a fascinating journey through time, covering Richmond Hill's history from the 1700s to the Henry Ford era. Learning about the Fords' connection to the area, and my great grandfather, J.F. Gregory, was truly special.

The staff's Southern hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Plus, the admission price is incredibly reasonable – $8 for adults and only $4 for members of the Historical Society and their families. It's a much better deal compared to other Savannah museums.

I highly recommend this museum to anyone interested in...
